Arete Arena was founded in Toronto in 2024, starting as a pop-up focused on baked goods. Since then, we’ve expanded into wholesale and now also import and distribute specialty coffee and equipment.

The name Arete is a Greek word meaning “excellence” or “virtue.” It reflects our commitment to offering well-made products with care and consistency. Whether it’s pastries, coffee, or tools, we focus on quality and function without unnecessary extras.
